While I was looking for a couch for a new project, when suddenly I thought, why not make this new project luxurious?
In addition to that, I got nostalgic about a project that I had to do to get my Interior Design degree. At that time, I was looking for a comfy sofa when I fell in love with a, Standar, designed by Francesco Bianfaré for Edra. When describing his couch, he says: "The key element is the “smart cushion”. Backrests and armrests have lost any stiffness and can be molded as desired with a flick of your hand: low, high, oblique, enveloping and functional. The deeper seats help to discover a casual comfort. It allows total freedom of combining seats of different shape and depth to customize the compositions : linear, angular or free plan."
So, I decided to use this sofa and add the "Miroir Froisée" (number 15 in the Get The Look below) in order to share with you a truly luxurious and beautiful art piece. The "Miroir Froisée" was created by an excellent artist Mathias Kiss. He is a Parisian artist-designer who plays with French classicism, preserving and updating 'historic codes' by putting them in a contemporary context. If you want to buy that, it is entirely up to you.
I then mixed both the "Miroir Froisée" and the Bianfaré couch with a Scandinavian design style.
