Get the Look: Styled Entryway, Two Options: Budget Friendly vs High End Furniture and Decor.

Updated: Oct 16, 2020

The entryway is probably the last space we improve in our homes. But it's the first impression for your guests and, most importantly, it's the first spot that welcomes you after work. Also, if you are thinking of selling your house, it helps to increase its value.

The entryway or foyer could be small or big but it will always be welcoming. You can do that with a big budget or a friendly one, it's your choice how much you want to invest.

You have to think in a few elements that will transform your entryway,

  1. Statement light fixture, makes a great first impression adding coziness and brightness.

  2. Console table styled with accessories. It's the place where you leave your keys and mail as soon as you enter your home.

  3. A mirror to create the illusion of a bigger space and to check your outfit on your way out.

  4. A chair, ottoman or bench are good spots to take off your shoes.

  5. Decorate your walls with art to add your personality to the space. I used amazing paints from a great Argentinian abstract artist - Laura Mc Donnell, based recently in Raleigh, NC. You can find her work at https://www.instagram.com/lauramcdonnellart/?hl=en

  6. Some plants to make the space fresh and airy.

  7. Finally a rug to define the space.

Below you can discover the same entryway but one is revamped with High End items and the other one is Budget Friendly. Can you tell which one is budget friendly?
